With a perspective resembling that of a womanizer – only with men – Handler holds no hesitations about getting to know someone better using namely birthday suits and alcohol. This has gotten her in many different situations, with many, very different men. From a midget to an online “chocolate single”, Handler recounts her bedroom adventures, as well as her hilarious friends that helped steer her along the way. At the end of the book, Handler comes to the realization that she needs to become more serious about her love life, and is in fact interested in finally settling down.
Handler also makes income doing standup comedy, which is evident in the riotous puns made throughout her writing. This is an empowering, entertaining novel for the single woman.
